Dr. Sean Panella recently joined us in 2022 from Redmond, Oregon, where he started his career working with both large and small animals. Following his time in general practice, Dr. Panella joined a progressive specialty practice as an emergency veterinarian. There he enjoyed the chance to collaborate with board-certified specialists in a variety of fields. Eventually, an ongoing interest in oral surgery and dentistry led to an exciting opportunity to pursue residency training under Dr. Brigden and Dr. Woody here at PCVD.

Dr. Panella’s special interests include oral/maxillofacial oncology and the management of oral pain in animals. Outside of work, he prefers to spend his time surfing, snowboarding and hiking with his wife, Pauline and their Australian Shepherd, Luna.
