Allison Woody, DVM, DAVDC
Allison Woody, DVM, DAVDC, joined Pacific Coast Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery in January of 2018. She is a 1999 graduate of Colorado State University and has been practicing veterinary dentistry exclusively since 2010. Dr. Woody is a published author and has lectured at local and national conferences. She strives to provide compassionate, honest, and realistic care to her patients and their hardworking families.
When not at our office, Dr. Woody supports several San Diego County animal shelters by providing advanced dental care to dogs and cats in need. She is also a consulting Veterinary Dentist for the National Marine Mammal Foundation, San Diego Zoo Global, and Lions Tigers and Bears sanctuary. Dr. Woody is an active member of the The Colyer Institute and travels with their large mammal dental team. The unique group provides dental care for elephants, rhino, giraffe, walrus, hippo, and other megavertebrates around the world.
When she is not working, Dr. Woody enjoys being outdoors in San Diego or traveling with her husband and son.
